As a UX/UI Designer at BrainBox AI, you’ll take the lead on designing the user experience and interface of our cloud-based Building Management System (BMS) platform along with the tools that empower our deployment and support channels. Leveraging your expertise in developing user workflows and a deep understanding of design principles, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and implementing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for both internal and external stakeholders.

We’re looking for a UX-focused designer who thrives on understanding user workflows, solving complex problems, and turning them into clean, intuitive, and scalable experiences. Collaborating with the product team, you’ll combine customer discovery findings, software analytics and industry best practices to develop UI that delights users. As part of the UX/UI team, you’ll work closely to create and maintain a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency across all BrainBox AI. You’ll also serve as the bridge between product and marketing, building assets that support our business objectives and marketing initiatives.

  Where is the work:

This position has been designated as a Hybrid.

What you will do:

  * Own the UX/UI for our cloud platform (web + mobile), designing workflows and interfaces that empower building operators, facility managers, and support teams.
* Build and evolve a scalable design system in Figma to ensure consistency across the platform and related digital properties.
* Turn complexity into clarity by designing intuitive dashboards, flows, and interactions that make technical data actionable.
* Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs and customer insights into seamless user experiences.
* Conduct user research and usability testing, iterating on designs based on real feedback and analytics.
* Stay hands-on in Figma, creating wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs that developers can run with.
* Bridge product and marketing, providing assets that showcase product value in campaigns and communications.
* Contribute to design strategy, influencing the look, feel, and usability of next-gen enterprise building management tools.

What you will bring: 

  * 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex, workflow-driven web applications.
* Enterprise SaaS or platform design experience (bonus points for building management, energy, or industrial domains).
* Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred
* Proven expertise in creating and maintaining design systems in Figma.
* Strong grasp of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility best practices.
* Comfortable designing for both mobile and web platforms.
* Excellent communicator who can clearly explain design decisions and advocate for the user.
* Collaborative mindset, eager to partner with product, development, and marketing teams.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and translate complex concepts into clear design solutions
* Bonus: curiosity or experience with AI-driven design tools to accelerate and enhance design outcomes.

Compensation:

     Base Pay Range: $90K-105K
