# Arcada Labs - Design Specialist

🌟 About the Opportunity

Arcada Labs is seeking designers who can help train the next generation of AI to recognize and replicate human taste. You’ll be developing, testing, and refining prompt-based tasks that challenge AI systems to think like designers – capturing the nuance of process, style, and communication.

We’re not just looking for people who make things look good: we want collaborators who can translate the invisible logic of design into clear instructions and evaluations.

🖌️ What You’ll Do

• Create and review prompt-based exercises that teach AI to reason about design choices
• Evaluate model responses for clarity, aesthetics, and process
• Contribute design expertise that spans output types UI/UX to graphic and web design

🧑‍🎨 Who You Are

• 3+ years of professional experience in fields such as UI/UX, graphic design, web design, game design / game UX, service design, interaction design
• Degree in design, architecture, or related discipline
• Fluent in English
• A portfolio that shows strong visual design skills (apps, websites, campaigns, branding)
• Clear and thoughtful communicator with a sharp eye for detail
• Curious about (or experienced with) LLMs and AI prompting

💰 Compensation and Opportunity Structure

• $50-$100/hour depending on experience
• 10-20 hours per week to start, potential to scale up to 40 hours
• Remote, asynchronous work — you decide your schedule
• Initial contract length: 1-3 months, with possible extension

👏 How We Hire

• Short interview covering design thinking and creative workflows
• Portfolio submission including 3-4 cases (required) - websites preferred but PDFs also accepted
• Selection will be based on portfolio quality and interview performance

• You will contract directly with Arcada Labs and be paid weekly
