Position: 3D Graphic Designer (Web)
Type: Hourly Contract
Compensation: $50–$100 per hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours per week
Role Responsibilities
• Design and optimize 3D assets and interactive visuals for web platforms
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product designers, and marketing teams to create immersive website experiences
• Design and develop high-quality 3D models, scenes, and animations for web use
• Create optimized 3D assets for real-time web rendering (WebGL, Three.js, or similar)
• Integrate 3D elements into responsive websites in collaboration with developers
• Ensure performance optimization including polygon count management, texture compression, and load speed improvements
• Produce product visualizations, interactive hero sections, and immersive UI components
• Maintain visual consistency aligned with brand guidelines
• Iterate based on stakeholder feedback
Requirements
• Experience in 3D graphic design or digital 3D visualization
• Strong portfolio showcasing 3D work used in web or interactive environments
• Proficiency in Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, or similar tools
• Experience preparing assets for web (GLTF / GLB workflows)
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, materials, and rendering
• Familiarity with WebGL, Three.js, or interactive web frameworks
• Ability to balance high-quality visuals with performance constraints
• Experience with motion graphics or animation for web (preferred)
• Familiarity with frontend collaboration workflows such as Figma, React, or Webflow (preferred)
• Experience in product-focused or startup environments (preferred)
• Understanding of UX/UI principles (preferred)
