Job Description
Essential Function
The UX/UI Designer plays a pivotal role in enhancing and refining the digital journey for SBH customers across diverse platforms. Working collaboratively with various teams, the UX/UI Designer delivers insightful research findings, proposes strategic solutions to stakeholders, fulfills design objectives, and remains agile in addressing the dynamic landscape of business and customer requirements. We seek a candidate who champions customer interests, possesses a comprehensive grasp of the product design lifecycle, and demonstrates a fervent commitment to leveraging insights for crafting seamlessly intuitive experiences for our users.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design flows that facilitate clear customer interaction. Ensure the logical progression of the customer journey from one step to the next.
- Maintain and evolve wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and specifications as required. Propose innovative and intuitive solutions to complex problems.
- Take ownership of design projects. Conduct research to enhance digital experiences and effectively translate customer insights into tangible design deliverables within specified timelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 2+ years of UX/UI experience
- Understanding of various research methods (Interviews, surveys, secondary research, and usability testing)
- Demonstrated ability in creating design deliverables (wireframes, mockups, prototypes, personas, empathy maps, journey maps, affinity maps, screen, and task flows)
- Ability to clearly present design approaches to wide-ranging audiences (e.g. business, product management and technology teams)
- Proficiency in mobile and responsible design practices for native app, web, mobile, and tablet platforms.
- Experience in crafting thorough handoff documentation for developers.
- Proficiency with design tools including Figma, Miro, and Microsoft Office Suite.
