ROLE
Working on the digital team, the UX or UX/UI designer aims to improve the user experience by creating user-friendly and effective interfaces. Using their creative and technical skills, they participate in the realization of projects of all sizes. Their communication skills allow them to understand client needs and their analytical mind bases their decisions on research and available data.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Deliver creative, intuitive and user-centered interfaces and customer journeys, and ensure usability throughout the experience.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders (VP and C-level) to execute on their customer journeys and digital strategies.
• Provide guidance to other disciplines to help ensure that their work meets the requirements of the project and delight users.
• Plan and lead user research and usability tests to help identify and solve usability and accessibility issues.
• Create and validate design prototypes.
• Build design system and create reusable patterns and components libraries.
• Follow-up on the final implementation of all features to ensure the proper execution of the user experience design.
• Act as a UX mentor to designers and advocate within Sid Lee.
REQUIREMENTS
• 7+ years' experience creating interfaces, large-scale digital experiences, or applications.
• Diploma in user experience, interactive design, graphic design, e-commerce, or any other relevant field.
• Digital-savvy and informed on innovations, trends and technologies in the digital space; expert understanding of the best approach to implement new strategies that impact outcomes and drive digital transformations.
• Extensive experience working closely with product managers to define the strategy and rationale for product features.
• Expert at designing a brand experience across multiple channels, including web, social, mobile, etc.
• Adobe Creative Suite, Figma are software you will use daily. Prototyping using Axure is a plus.
• Fluency in spoken and written French is required. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, to work with national and international clients and colleagues (50% of the time) is also required.
