About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Digital Product Designer to join an agile, iterative team environment. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders, serving as a problem-solver, communicator, and facilitator from concept to implementation.

What You’ll Do
Drive Interaction Design Strategy
• Apply deep knowledge of UI patterns and behaviors to enhance comprehension and optimize task performance
• Design visualizations and interactions that support analytic thinking, particularly with complex data sets
• Lead design critiques and evaluate interactions for accessibility and inclusivity
• Facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative design workshops
• Serve as the interaction design subject-matter expert for the product design team
Create Impactful Interaction Artifacts
• Leverage interaction design theory, research insights, and best practices to inform decisions
• Develop complex artifacts to communicate task flows, user behaviors, and system interactions
• Produce wireframes, sketches, and prototypes (low to high fidelity)
• Build advanced prototypes with detailed delivery specifications
• Present work to senior stakeholders, articulating vision, rationale, risks, and trade-offs
Lead Research & Testing Initiatives
• Facilitate usability testing sessions and synthesize findings
• Initiate and contribute to research activities to uncover user needs
• Conduct competitive audits and research within financial services contexts
• Execute pattern and component audits to maintain design system integrity
Must-Have Qualifications
• BA/BS in Design (interaction, visual, product, industrial), HCI, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of professional experience designing usable interfaces across multiple platforms
• Experience in applied research environments with strong integration of research into design
• Ability to clearly articulate design strategy, rationale, and associated risks
• Expertise in leading design, prototyping, and research tools
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• MA/MS in Design, HCI, CS, or related field
• Strong understanding of research methodologies and when to apply them
• Experience with design thinking methodologies
• Experience working within large-scale organizations and agile environments
