We are seeking a Director of Product Design to own the user experience and interface design of the platform by recruiting and leading a team of in-house product designers. This is a unique opportunity to build design excellence at a high-growth startup and deliver meaningful impact for customers and the business.
In This Role, You Will
• Define and champion the product design vision aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Manage and enhance a cohesive, scalable design system to maximize reuse and development velocity.
• Mentor and inspire a team of product designers, fostering creativity and collaboration.
• Partner with product leadership to integrate design into the SDLC process.
• Facilitate workshops and design reviews to drive alignment across teams.
• Lead intuitive, visually compelling designs for web and mobile platforms.
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and scalability standards are met.
• Stay current on design trends and incorporate best practices.
• Advocate for user-centered design as a key driver of business success.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in product design with a strong portfolio of impactful solutions.
• Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring design teams.
• Expert experience working with in-house design systems across design and code.
• Experience building scalable user research and usability processes.
• Considerable experience with Figma.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in SaaS, B2B, or marketplace environments.
• Experience leveraging data and product analytics tools for design insights.
• Proficiency in UX writing and content strategy.
