At CoGo, we specialize in end-to-end industrial IoT solutions for asset management and loss prevention, leveraging cloud based IoT technology to enhance efficiency and safety in various industries. Our customer portal, a critical component of our service, is developed with C# using Blazor and is hosted on Azure Web Apps, utilizing Azure SQL Server for backend operations.

We are seeking a skilled Web Designer for a contract role to refine and enhance the user interface and overall design of our IoT customer portal. This position is primarily remote, but with a requirement for candidates to be local to Vancouver, BC, offering the opportunity for occasional in-office collaboration as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Review and enhance the current design of our IoT customer portal to ensure a superior user experience.
• Work closely with our development team to understand the technical aspects and design requirements.
• Implement design changes using C# and Blazor within the Azure Web Apps environment.
• Ensure design compatibility and optimization across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and incorporate feedback into the design.
• Adhere to design best practices and contribute creative solutions for a polished, professional look.

WHO YOU ARE:

• A creative individual with a keen eye for aesthetics and user-friendly design.
• Proficient in web design, specifically with experience in C# and Blazor.
• Familiarity with Azure Web Apps and Azure SQL Server environments.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with remote teams.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

• Proven experience in web design, particularly in enhancing existing platforms.
• Portfolio showcasing previous design work, preferably with C# and Blazor applications.
• Experience working in a cloud-based environment, ideally Azure.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
• Ability to translate technical requirements into compelling designs.
• Experience with user interface and experience design.
