Who are you?
You’re a creative problem solver who seeks out innovative solutions for user needs. You’re detail-oriented, but don’t lose sight of the big picture. You possess a great design and product sense, along with a solid understanding of how users interact with digital products.
What is the role about?
We need someone who can work alongside our development team to bridge the gap between user experience, SignAgent objectives, and technical feasibility.
Participating in or leading user research: interviews, testing, surveys, ethnography, etc.
Translating research insights into actionable design concepts.
Mapping user journeys, creating user flows, personas, and storyboards.
Collaborating with product and engineering teams throughout the six-week build cycles.
Facilitating collaborative workshops (design sprints, ideation sessions, etc.).
Creating low- to mid-fidelity prototypes/wireframes for exploration and testing.
The Product Designer will work closely with our existing development and product teams, attending and contributing to company development meetings. However, they will also need to take responsibility and succeed on their own merit to meet targets.

Here are some qualifications we’re looking for you to have or be ready to learn:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma/Certificate in Interaction Design, UX/Product Design, HCI, or similar
0-2 years in a UX, product, or interaction design role or related school experience
Proven track record of user-centered design in complex problem spaces
Strong analytical thinking; ability to break down complex problems
Comfortable with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus
Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and/or Signage/Wayfinding is an asset

Total Compensation Range: $55k–65k
