Job Summary
We are seeking a Jr. UX/UI Designer with 1 year of experience, or projects expressing an understanding of UX/UI design processes and applications. We are a company of talented, multi-disciplinary individuals who are clever, reliable, honest and passionate about our product. We need someone who can conceptualize and create beautiful digital experiences that delight our users and clients. This role requires an understanding of visual design, interaction design and a solid understanding of design systems. People skills are recommended because interaction with clients is common. This is not a remote position. Any potential candidate must be willing to work/commute to our Murray, UT office.
Required Skills
The UX/UI design team at Online Image owns the look, feel and function of a project from conception to completion, to create something that will not only inspire but stand up and improve over time. These skills include:
- Proficiency in all basic visual design principles to create clean and user-focused experiences
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Suite
- Having experience in Framer, Webflow, Spline or any outstanding design tools and software is a plus
- Ability to adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
- Ability to gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Ability to illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Ability to design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, widgets, page navigation buttons and search fields
- Ability to develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites look and function
- Ability to create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Ability to prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Ability to conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
