Lead Product Designer

As the Lead Product Designer you will be defining, evolving, and potentially revolutionizing the Bloom digital experience for users across the health care ecosystem we serve. You will help us achieve our mission of assisting seniors to thrive by designing an experience that allows them to navigate their healthcare options and make the right decisions for their health.  You will create an environment of curiosity and structured design thinking to propel us forward.  Through research, documentation, interviews, and iterative discovery, you will save clicks, bring joy, and improve the work experience for all employees and customers through better design.

In this role, you will fuel the product development process, ensuring our designs align with user needs, business objectives, and technological feasibility. We seek a seasoned design leader with a proven track record of delivering exceptional user-centered experiences, with a preference for experience in health care and related industries.

  • Balance complexity and ambiguity while delivering functional interfaces for downstream delivery teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic arts, visual design, science, engineering, experience design or relevant adjacent disciplines; or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in lieu of a degree required.
  • 7+ years’ experience as a product designer, graphic designer, or related work; health care industry experience is preferred

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated strategic problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to effectively use research, data, and insights to inform your strategy, designs, and desired product outcomes
