Job Summary:

The Process & Digital Experience Designer is pivotal in shaping intuitive user experiences across our digital ecosystem while championing accessibility. This role is committed to enhancing our digital experiences by integrating strategic business goals with user-centric design principles and the latest in digital accessibility standards.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the design and implementation of user-centered and accessible digital experiences in alignment with CSA Group’s vision and branding strategies.
  • Lead the design process, leveraging design thinking and service design methodologies to empathetically understand user interactions and refine experiences through observational research.
  • Act as a steadfast advocate for digital accessibility, ensuring that all products are compliant with relevant standards and are usable by people with a range of abilities.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to uncover and creatively address unexpressed customer needs, delivering innovative solutions that exceed user expectations.
  • Develop a robust strategy for the experience design roadmap, detailing the integration of the most appropriate design interventions into our digital ecosystem.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of new implementations, evaluating them against key performance metrics and user satisfaction indices.
  • Drive continuous enhancement and optimization of user experiences based on data-driven insights and customer feedback.
  • Utilize assertive and refined leadership skills to foster a collaborative environment, inspiring change and innovation through influential design and strategic thought.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in product or service design with a proven track record of delivering successful products or services to market and a portfolio that demonstrates a breadth of design work and a clear design process.
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, including working closely with engineers, product managers, and internal partners.
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, persona development, journey mapping, and service blueprinting to inform design decisions.

 

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills, capable of conveying complex design concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong understanding of design principles and an eye for aesthetic detail. Proficiency in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and how design translates into front-end development.
