Bezel

Product Designer

About Us

Bezel empowers creative teams to design and prototype on a 3D canvas together.

The 3D ecosystem is booming across industries like entertainment, manufacturing, and architecture, in addition to recent growth in NFTs and the metaverse. Teams working in these industries, however, waste a lot of their time simply trying to collaborate with each other. Surveys indicate ~30% of 3D designers’ time is spent struggling to share and review their 3D work.

We experienced this problem firsthand while building 3D interfaces for Oculus and left Facebook to build Bezel: a browser-based 3D design platform focused on real-time collaboration. The founding team — Julian Park (CEO), Denys Bastov (CTO), and Cecilia Uhr (CPO) — worked together at Meta for the past three years and envision a future where collaborating on 3D files is as easy as Google Docs.

If you want to build the future of 3D collaboration with us, let’s talk!

Role

We’re looking for a designer who can:

  • Take full ownership of the product and design, from user research to ideating to delivering pixel-perfect designs.
  • Craft elegant solutions for complex conceptual problems in the 3D industry.
  • Contribute to the design system to ensure cohesion and velocity as we scale.
  • Understand business needs, use cases, and implications of your designs. Communicate openly with the rest of the team to gather feedback and iterate.
  • Wear many hats: not only product, but also marketing, brand, process, and culture.

Work With Us
  • Get competitive compensation and benefits
  • Become an early member of the team and shape the company from the ground up
  • Directly impact the future of the product
  • Join a creative, close-knit team
  • Work remotely if desired (we have an office in SF that we go into 2-3 times a week)

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience designing digital products and systems.
  • A deep interest in the future of 3D tech.
  • Experience with prototyping as a means to communicate design solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle uncertainty and ambiquity well. You can make clear decisions with limited information.
  • A growth mindset of seeking and delivering feedback to your peers.
