Product Designer

etrailer.com is seeking an experienced Product Designer (UX/UI) to work full-time at our Wentzville, MO location. We strive to create the most personalized shopping experience possible, leveraging our design skills to create an over-the-counter service experience for our shoppers. We also design unique, enterprise software systems that empower our teammates to serve our customers. Primary Duties:

  • Collaborate with business teams to brainstorm, create, and improve user experiences
  • Conduct usability testing and analyze user feedback to drive design projects
  • Develop personas and usage scenarios
  • Conduct competitor and customer analysis
  • Design and present user flows/journeys via wireframe layouts, mockups, storyboards, prototypes, and screen flows as needed
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
  • Design graphic interface elements like menus, tabs, and widgets

Experience and Skills:

  • 3+ years of UX/UI design experience
  • Portfolio that demonstrates you’ve solved tough design problems
  • A creative skill set with an eye for design
  • Experience with various user testing methodologies
  • Proven ability to adapt a brand identity and aesthetic in your designs
  • Knowledge and experience implementing design best practices
  • Proficient in Figma, FigJam, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and working on PC-based platform
  • Strong project management skills

Bonus Skills:

  • Coding experience not necessary, but an understanding around the basics of languages like
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a bonus
  • Graphic Design experience
  • Experience in e-commerce/retail
  • Practice in user research including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and more
  • Familiarity with material design
  • Experience designing for WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) apps
