Product Designer
As a Product Designer at IPFS, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual aesthetics of our products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and testers to create intuitive and engaging designs. Your work will impact the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through to final implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design Development: Create user-centered designs for digital products and applications. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and user interactions.
· Research and Analysis: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions. Analyze user feedback and metrics to refine and improve design solutions.
· Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, constraints, and goals. Facilitate design discussions and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
· Brand Consistency: Ensure that design solutions align with the company’s brand guidelines and maintain a consistent look and feel across all products.
· Problem-Solving: Identify and address design challenges, finding creative and practical solutions that enhance the user experience while meeting business objectives.
· Documentation: Create and maintain detailed design documentation, including user flows, style guides, and design specifications, to support the development and implementation process.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
· Experience: 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving skills.
· Skills: Proficient in Figma with experience working within Agile development processes.
· Knowledge: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, UX/UI best practices, and dynamic data-driven design. Experience with design systems and component libraries.
· Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions effectively. Comfortable receiving and giving constructive feedback.
· Creativity: A passion for designing intuitive and visually appealing products. Ability to think critically and approach design challenges with creativity and innovation.
