Job Overview
Come join the TurboTax team focused on retention as a Product Designer. We leverage vast data, behavioral insights, and AI modeling to build personalized experiences that leave consumers feeling heard and taken care of no matter what life complexities come their way.
Qualifications
- For projects of low to moderate complexity, assists in discovery phase
- Input for XD research
- Competitive audits and external trends analysis: Define phase
- Interaction design goals and principles; input to delight goals
- Interaction design process, schedule, milestones
- Personas, user scenarios/stories, storyboards: Design phase
- Multiple concepts and iterations around user interaction models and workflows
- Wireframes, screen flows, prototypes
- Presentations for communicating any of the above: Deliver phase
- UI Specs
- Assurance that delivery matches specs (e.g. identifying deviations, owning Interaction design bugs)
- Appropriate trade-off recommendations
Responsibilities
- Customer-centric design mindset
- Passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level and drive business results
- 2+ years of experience in product/interaction design
- Experience designing for and working with design systems and reusable component libraries
- Online portfolio showing examples of real published work
How you will lead
- Articulate complex visions through simple and innovative designs
- Engage with customers and learn quickly through iterative prototyping
- Collaborate effectively with other designers, product managers, developers and marketers
- Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
- Advance a strong point of view, backed up by customer data, design rationale, personal expertise, and industry trends
- Participate in customer research and apply insights to generate designs that deliver customer delight
- Self-organize and manage multiple projects efficiently
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $110500-149500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
