About the Team
Stripe’s Product Design team defines and delivers the user-facing experiences across all Stripe products. Product Designers partner closely with Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Marketers to design and ship high-quality product experiences.

Designers help shape product strategy, create intuitive user flows, and craft elegant interfaces that simplify complex financial systems.

Stripe is hiring Product Designers across multiple product areas, including:

• Seller & Commerce Experiences

• Terminal
• Other emerging Stripe platforms

What You’ll Do
• Lead end-to-end design work for key product areas
• Design intuitive experiences that simplify complex financial workflows
• Prototype and test product ideas to validate solutions with users
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to shape product strategy
• Deliver high-quality user interfaces that elevate Stripe’s design standards
• Participate in design critiques and contribute to a culture of feedback and iteration
• Work with UX Research teams to inform and validate design decisions

Responsibilities
• Deliver user-centered designs that improve core product experiences
• Design, prototype, and test thoughtful user flows
• Balance user needs, technical constraints, and business objectives
• Help define long-term product strategy while delivering near-term product improvements
• Communicate design decisions clearly across teams and leadership
• Influence product direction through strong design thinking and storytelling

Minimum Qualifications
• 5+ years of product design experience
• A strong portfolio demonstrating polished UI craft and design fundamentals
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, research)
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and stakeholder requirements
• Strong communication and storytelling skills
• Experience working across complex or ambiguous product spaces
• Ability to influence product strategy and team decisions
• Confidence presenting work to leadership and cross-functional teams

Work Environment
Hybrid Option
This role may be based either in a Stripe office or remotely depending on your location.

Office-based Stripes
Employees assigned to an office typically spend at least 50% of their time in-office each month or working directly with users.

Remote Stripes
Remote roles are available for candidates located 35+ miles (56+ km) from a Stripe office. Remote employees are encouraged to participate in team gatherings and company events when possible.

Stripe does not cover relocation costs to remote locations.

Compensation
US Base Salary Range: $159,300 – $238,900 USD

Compensation may vary based on experience, level, and location.
