First 90 Days
In your first 30 Days, you will:
• Deep dive into Surveil’s platform, FinOps and design principles.
• Meet with key stakeholders across the business: product, development.
• Familiarize yourself with our products, design system, workflows, and tooling.
• Start contributing to design critiques and small design updates.
• Identify quick wins across products to drive tactical improvements.
In your first 60 Days, you will:
• Take ownership of small–to–medium design projects, from research to prototype.
• Own and drive implementation of quick wins identified in the first 30 days.
• Conduct user research and synthesize insights to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with product management and engineers to refine and implement designs.
• Contribute to the design system by refining components or patterns.
• Present your work in team reviews and iterate based on feedback.
In your first 90 Days, you will:
• Lead multiple key design initiatives, solving complex UI–UX challenges.
• Improve usability and accessibility across dashboards and workflows.
• Build strong cross–functional relationships to advocate for design.
• Provide insights on how we can evolve our design approach for scale and efficiency.
• Own and drive implementation of strategic product design initiatives, as agreed with product management.

About the Role
As a Product Designer at Surveil, you will be at the forefront of UI-UX design, contributing to shaping intuitive, data-driven experiences that help organizations optimize their cloud environments. Collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and FinOps experts, you will present solutions that enhance the user interface and experience, leveraging contemporary design thinking and your own creativity. This role reports to the Product Director (M365) within the technical function.
Responsibilities
• Own key aspects of the design process across all products, including user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing to create user-centric solutions.
• Contribute to and refine Surveil’s design system, transitioning wireframes into high- fidelity designs while creating reusable components that drive consistency.
• Design intuitive dashboards and workflows, making complex cloud data more accessible and actionable for users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design priorities with business goals, ensuring seamless implementation.
• Identify and address usability challenges, validating design decisions through research and user feedback.
• Support design reviews and critiques, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You Bring
We believe the “perfect candidate” doesn’t exist – everyone has a unique background. Even if you don’t check every box, we’d love to hear from you! Ideally, you will have:
• 4–5+ years of hands–on experience in Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing user–centered solutions.
• Proficiency in Figma, including extensive experience with design systems and prototyping. Familiarity with Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, or other relevant tools is advantageous.
• Experience in designing dashboards, data visualizations, or complex workflows, with a particular emphasis on usability and accessibility.
• Strong research and analytical skills, demonstrated by conducting user research and validating design solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to present and advocate for design decisions effectively (English is the primary business language).
• Detail–oriented and process–driven, able to manage multiple priorities while ensuring quality and consistency.
• Strong team player who is proactive and contributes new ideas and initiatives.
• Demonstrable critical thinking skills, with a willingness and aptitude for continual learning.
• Initiative–taker and adaptable – While we operate remotely, there will be occasional requirements for travel to meetings, with expenses covered for international journeys. Join us on this exciting journey and shape the future of cloud optimization!
