What Will I be Doing?

The Sr Designer, Digital Design key UX/UI role is responsible for implementing designs that meet brand standards, while always bringing a user-centered design approach to projects. This individual should be highly self-motivated, extremely organized, a strong communicator, able to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects and a willing team first player with a strong understanding of consumer-direct marketing.

You are responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • 5+ years of working UX/UI design experience in a high volume setting
  • Advanced understanding of mobile-first email and web design
  • Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, which includes consistent communication with account management, copy and development team members
  • Provide UX/UI thought-leadership, coaching, mentorship and guidance within the Branding & Creative team
  • Able to operate within brand guidelines while also pushing fresh creative treatments into designs
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and able to effectively prioritize multiple projects of their own and their team in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, and Powerpoint
  • Constant drive to learn and communicate the latest trends in email and landing page design
  • Extensive understanding for applying consumer direct marketing best practices which clearly delivers the key highlights to the consumer and quickly captures their attention
  • Proactively identifies redesign opportunities that will enhance the overall creative and drive stronger performance
  • Focus on staying current with the competitive travel market while being mindful to the latest trends in digital marketing industry
  • Ensures accuracy of their teams work, provides clear and actionable feedback, and is mindful of the feedback carried forward to future projects
  • Other duties as assigned
