Location
This role is open to candidates across Canada (excluding Quebec) and the US. Candidates near Clio hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, Toronto) are expected to work in-office at least twice per week on designated Anchor Days.
About the Team – Invoicing
The Invoicing team is focused on transforming how law firms manage their finances end-to-end. We build intuitive, connected experiences that help firms strengthen financial performance and operate more resilient businesses.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will reimagine financial workflows, unlock actionable insights, and design AI-powered automation that is trustworthy, explainable, and well-controlled.
What You’ll Do
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define experience strategy and success metrics.
• Build strong customer intuition through direct engagement and research.
• Lead end-to-end design from discovery and vision to prototyping, testing, launch, and iteration.
• Raise the quality bar with polished, accessible, best-in-class interaction design.
• Contribute to and strengthen Clio’s design systems and patterns.
• Drive alignment through storytelling, structured decision framing, and proactive collaboration.
• Mentor by example and elevate overall team craft.
What You Bring
• 6+ years of experience designing digital products (B2B SaaS preferred).
• Experience designing scalable experiences across customer segments (Solo, SMB, Mid-Market).
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality work that impacts product metrics.
• Strong craft across interaction design, IA, usability, and visual design.
• Strong customer-centric practice grounded in research insights.
• Experience designing AI-powered features and workflows.
• Expertise with modern design and AI tools (e.g., Figma, Cursor, Claude).
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, low-ego mindset with strong ownership.
• Growth mindset, especially regarding AI and evolving technologies.
Bonus
Experience in fintech or financial product design, particularly simplifying complex financial workflows.
Compensation
Salary range (CAD): $128,400 – $151,000 – $173,600
Final offer depends on geography, experience, and skillset.
