Help support this mission by joining our growing design team for the Jack Henry Platform. You’ll have a unique opportunity to experience creating something from scratch for a fortune 500 company–working on one of the largest projects in company history. You’ll help build a modern, open-banking, cloud-native back office for financial institutions that will empower and delight by focusing on user-centric design principles.

This position will be filled to work remotely within the U.S.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Collaborate with product management, business analysts, and development to understand and establish user requirements.
- Turn high level product requirements into workflows and designs.
- Create protocols and prototypes for testing and analysis to ensure UX and technical business needs are met.
- Rapidly iterate on design solutions based on feedback and technical needs.
- Ensure products meet high standards of usability and design excellence.
- Confidently communicate the rationale of design decisions.
- Approach design from a humble perspective that places a high level of importance on user empathy.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UX and UI design.
- Experience communicating and collaborating with cross disciplinary teams.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
- Portfolio link or PDF exhibiting a strong understanding of UX/UI design. If a password is required, it must be provided.
- Ability to travel up to 5% to attend JH meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and constraints while designing detail-oriented, thoughtful solutions.
- Research based mind-set for problem solving.
- Expertise in designing beautiful, data dense applications.
- Familiarity with best practices and design patterns for web applications.
- Experience with industry standard design tools like Figma and design systems.
