The Role
As a Senior Product Designer on ShareGate Protect, you’ll help shape the future of digital governance in one of Workleap’s key growth areas.
ShareGate Protect enables IT professionals to understand tenant activity, identify risks like oversharing and sprawl, and confidently take action in complex digital environments. Your role will focus on transforming complex rules and data into calm, actionable, and trustworthy AI-powered experiences.
You will act as both a design leader and hands-on contributor within a tight product trio (PM + Engineering + Design), owning problem spaces end-to-end while shaping long-term product vision.
Responsibilities
• Own high-complexity problem spaces from concept through launch and iteration
• Shape product vision and roadmap through strong UX POV and customer insights
• Design intuitive, trustworthy AI-powered workflows
• Use AI-assisted design and prototyping tools to accelerate experimentation
• Run lean discovery loops using behavioral signals and product data
• Translate bold ideas into small, testable experiments
• Partner deeply with PM, Engineering, and Data teams
• Balance short-term delivery with long-term strategic thinking
• Advocate for clarity, usability, and high design quality
• Mentor and support fellow designers
A Typical Week
• Frame opportunities in trio planning sessions
• Prototype AI-driven solutions and test experiments
• Conduct customer interviews
• Collaborate closely with engineers on feasibility and scalability
• Review usage data and customer feedback
• Present solutions early to align stakeholders
• Refine interaction details and system patterns
• Document design decisions clearly
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years designing complex SaaS products
• Experience owning ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces
• Strong end-to-end workflow and systems design experience
• Experience designing AI-powered or data-driven products
• Active use of AI-assisted prototyping tools
• Proficiency with Figma Make and Cursor (or equivalent)
• Ability to balance speed, craft, and strategic thinking
• Strong communication and influence skills
• High bar for interaction design and edge cases
• Hands-on coding experience (asset)
Salary
$120,000 – $145,000 CAD
(Adjusted based on region and market conditions)
