Position Overview

We’re currently in search of a seasoned Senior Product Designer with a proven track record of crafting user-centered designs that drive business growth through data-driven insights! As a key member of our team, reporting directly to the VP of Product, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the product design strategy across Valimail’s entire product portfolio.

The ideal fit for this role is someone who thrives in a rapidly evolving, growth environment. You’ll be adept at juggling immediate design enhancements within our existing B2B SaaS product while also charting the course towards a grander vision for our product suite. This involves harnessing the power of customer feedback, delving into user research, staying attuned to market dynamics, and navigating technical constraints with finesse. Bonus points if you bring experience in cybersecurity, email, or DNS to the table.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with product managers and design teams to build products that will inherently drive user adoption and revenue growth. Take a very technical, data-heavy product and create simple, intuitive user interfaces and experiences that can be used in experiments to discover new ways to drive growth
• Assist with user research projects to develop the understanding of the customer and validate design choices before and after development
• Partner with product management and engineering teams to define roadmaps and prioritize requirements
• Create user-centered designs that incorporate customer feedback, user research, data, market trends and technical constraints. Create UX flows and designs, including low- and high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and/or mockups that illustrate your proposed solutions for exception product experiences to potential end users and internal collaborators

About You

• 4+ years Product Design experience
• Strong visual and interaction design skills
• Solid understanding of information architecture
• Experience with key aspects of the design process from problem definition, ideation, testing and feedback, to building up fidelity for delivery and documentation
• Experienced with Figma, Jira, Slack
• Experience conducting UX research and use of session replay tools such as Fullstory
• Demonstrated success working with product leadership, development managers, cross-functional teams and a development team in a highly collaborative and agile process
• Clear understanding of user-centered design processes
• Excellent communication skills in order to collaborate with customers, peers, colleagues, and executives. You succinctly articulate goals, progress, and priorities in written, verbal, and presentation formats
• Experience working in UX/Design at a SaaS company or startup
