At Vention, you’ll work alongside driven, talented people solving complex challenges with care, collaboration, and respect. Design is evolving here — and you’ll help shape how it matures across the organization.
The Role
As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll work on core parts of the Vention platform — designing experiences at the intersection of software and physical machines.
You’ll clarify complexity, structure technical workflows, and deliver intuitive user experiences in logic-heavy, professional environments. This role requires strong UX judgment, structured thinking, and the ability to operate confidently in technical problem spaces.
What You’ll Do
• Lead UX and product design for complex, platform-level workflows used to configure and control automation systems
• Translate technical constraints into clear, intuitive experiences
• Partner with Product and Engineering to frame problems and define success criteria
• Conduct user research (interviews, usability testing, workflow validation)
• Deliver user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-quality UI in Figma
• Contribute to and evolve Vention’s design system for scalability and consistency
• Improve design-to-production workflows in close collaboration with engineering
• Clearly communicate design rationale linking user needs, data, feasibility, and business impact
What You Bring
• 5+ years of product design experience
• Strong experience designing complex software (not marketing/content sites)
• Demonstrated UX strength in problem framing, interaction design, and systems thinking
• Experience with technical or logic-heavy tools (e.g., configuration systems, editors, internal platforms)
• Strong ability to simplify complex workflows and mental models
• Hands-on user research experience
• Experience contributing to design systems
• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools
• Comfort working in fast-moving, production-constrained environments
Bonus
• Design Engineer mindset
• Ability to help define design-to-production workflows
