Hopeful for those we support, rebellious in our approach, and collaborative by breaking down barriers, AccessHope is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to help us uniquely deploy the latest cancer knowledge to the places it’s needed most. As an ideal candidate, you’ll be responsible for driving our consumer digital platform’s design and user experience, ensuring that it is visually appealing, user-friendly, and highly functional. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to create seamless and engaging experiences for our users.

Key responsibilities

Lead and manage the design process, from ideation and conceptualization to implementation and iteration.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to continuously improve and optimize user experience.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standard.
Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration within the design team.
Stay up to date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive.

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field; 4 years of experience plus min 5+ years UI/UX experience may substitute for minimum education requirements
5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design, preferably within the tech, healthcare, banking, gaming industry, or similar industry

Preferred qualifications

Masters’ degree
AGILE, PMP, Six Sigma, or similar certification
Experience with AI-driven solutions Passion for accessible design and knowledge of WCAG 2.1, Section 508 and American Disabilities Act.

The estimated pay scale represents the typical salary range AccessHope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale applies to the current posting only.
