Job Description
Leads design initiatives, mentors junior designers, and influences product strategy through design expertise. Partners with product management to align with business goals and create or refine user experience to achieve stated goals. Able to structure task flows (experience), established context for user (information architecture)
Essential Functions
1. Lead advanced design projects from concept to delivery.
2. Leverage integrative thinking/problem solving skills to define user challenges and opportunities.
3. Collaborate with product, engineering, and other key stakeholders to translate business goals and defined use cases into sophisticated, practical designs that delivery on key business metrics and user engagement and satisfaction targets.
4. Create task flows, information architecture and prototypes to address users needs.
5. Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers; collaborate with designers and engineers to manage and maintain design standards.
6. Conduct advanced user research, including A/B testing, to optimize user experience.
7. Advocate for the importance of design thinking within the organization.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required
Work Experience
5 years of experience in UI/UX design. required
1. Nielsen or Google UX Design certification preferred
2. Advanced experience in UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud), with a portfolio demonstrating successful design projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of user research methodologies.
4. Solid understanding of relevant technologies (e.g., Javascript, Typescript, ReactJS, Material UI, storybook, Playwright).
5. Experience conducting A/B tests to compare different design versions with user groups and determine which performs better.
6. Effective communication with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, stakeholders). May mentor and provide feedback to others.
About CoBank
The typical base pay range for this role is between $105,223 – $146,312. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
