Project Description

For more than 10 years we’ve been building software for a top tier Hedge Fund. One of the teams is developing a new trading application to save time of Traders and Portfolio Managers and flatten the learning curve.

We are looking for a UX/UI Designer who can efficiently collaborate with the other designers, developers, end users, and other stakeholders to further improve the user experience.

We offer training in Finance and relevant technology, business trips to New York and other client offices, and all you need to be efficient.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces
• Actively propose and implement UI/UX improvements
• Maintain UX/UI artifacts like storybooks, style guides, and overall design systems
• Incorporate the ideas and feedback in mockups
• Promote best practices and standards

Skills

Must have

• UX/UI expert with a proven track record and passion about building efficient user interfaces
• 5+ Years in UI/UX space
• Basic understanding of CSS, HTML, DOM, and core principles of building Informational Architecture, basic understanding of front-end frameworks (React / Angular / Vue)
• Experience with Figma is a must
• Can demonstrate on the interview web Design Systems / Application
• Must demonstrate a portfolio

Nice to have

• Javascript proficiency
• Experience with Angular
• Investment/Finance industry experience
• Team player (but can operate independently if needed)
• Attention to detail, willing to maintain and build UX/UI artifacts like story books, style guides, and overall design systems
