Experts in human behavior, a UX designer is responsible for designing digital products that meet the user’s needs and motivations while also supporting our client’s business goals. This position requires an experienced professional who excels in all design process facets. You will be involved in the ideation of the initial concepts through to a finished product. We believe in a data-driven design philosophy that starts with qualitative and quantitative research. Upon implementation, you will collaborate with our analysts to inspect, measure and analyze your work to improve our products continuously.

Daily Duties

• Design user experiences that are user-friendly and engaging.

• Conduct user research and competitor analysis to inform design decisions.

• Analyze existing user experiences and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Wireframe and prototype user experiences and iterate based on user feedback.

• Develop finished mockups in Sketch and collaborate with developers to bring them to life.

• Verify that the finished product matches the initial concept and mock.

• Communicate design concepts and rationales to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the analytics team to interpret data and scorecards.

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Job requirements

• Minimum of 3-4 years experience in product and web design

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent experience

• Analytical approach to design

• Experience taking client feedback and translating it into a recommendation

• Must be capable of working with tight deadlines

• Demonstrable mastery of Sketch

• Working knowledge of the various web standards and how to address browser inconsistencies

• Experience designing for mobile

• Must be methodical and organized

• Aptitude for working on highly detail-oriented tasks

• Your portfolio will speak for itself

• Aptitude to be methodical, organized, and extremely detail-oriented

• Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to effectively and confidently speak with clients and third parties on a daily basis and/or in large meetings

• Desire to work as part of a diverse team, as well as independently

In one month, you will:

• Actively engage with internal and external team members, as well as stakeholders

• Begin building positive relationships and effective communication channels

• Begin to form a foundation of client-specific knowledge

• Learn about IAM, current product offerings and roadmap

• Familiarize yourself with our design guidelines and standards

• Begin designing user interfaces for our products and services

• Collaborate with developers to implement your designs

By month 3, you will:

• Lead the design of our products and services

• Identify and evangelize UX opportunities for improvement.

• Offer insight, constructive feedback, and suggestions to improve the design’s usability, aesthetics, and alignment with KPIs.

A salary of $70,000 to $90,000 will be commensurate with experience. At this time, we are looking for candidates interested in full employment.
