Senior UX Researcher, Earner
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Senior UX Researcher to spearhead our earner research team’s initiatives! This researcher should be proficient in identifying and executing strategic research, scaling insights globally, and partnering closely with cross-functional partners and drive strategic growth for Uber.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to creatively uncover and investigate new opportunities to help define product roadmaps, vision, and strategy that directly relates to local and global initiatives.
- Design and conduct foundational, formative, and evaluative qualitative and quantitative user research, including field observations and interviews, remote and in-person usability studies, and other methods as needed for existing and future products.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of cross-functional product, design, engineering, and product marketing partners to achieve alignment and impact.
- Synthesize and communicate research findings to drive understanding, user empathy, and business decisions across the organization.
- Deliver high-quality insights in a fast-paced work environment.
- Prioritize the most impactful UXR-led initiatives and support local teams with research in an advisory role, as needed.
- Scale insights to other regions & parts of the business. Partner with other UXRs to strengthen & triangulate their own insights
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience conducting user research
- An understanding of research methods strengths and weaknesses and experience planning and conducting mid-to-large scale research projects across various product phases
- Ability to conduct qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods research
- Ability to conduct statistical analysis, conjoint analysis
- Ability to concisely and persuasively communicate research findings
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience conducting international research and working on products with global impact
- Experience with mixed methods – both qualitative and quantitative – with a focus on more strategic research
- Able to appropriately prioritize projects based on business impact and level of effort
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$171,000 per year – USD$190,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$171,000 per year – USD$190,000 per year.
