LastPass is looking for a Staff Product Designer.

Staff Product Designers at LastPass lead complex, critical, and ambiguous projects and design teams across product areas and consult on product vision and strategy for roadmap and innovations. This is a remote position with most of the in-person events happening in Hungary.

As a Staff Product Designer on our End User Experience design team you will:

  • Embody and advocate the mission and goals of the UX organization and LastPass product development
  • Solve problems by keeping sight of multiple interrelated products and product areas
  • Resolve issues directly and collaboratively with Product Management and Engineering
  • Actively seek out and collaborate with other product team members to improve the cross-product experience
  • Consistently represent the user when working with the product team or customer group
  • Proactively identify and communicate issues and proposed solutions
  • Recognize and take responsibility for your impact on both the product experience and your teammates
  • Mentor and proactively offer guidance to less experienced designers and contribute to the growth of the design team
  • Network with key contacts outside own area of expertise
  • Set your own deadlines within the project schedule
  • While delivering your everyday product design tasks on an above standard level

    • Data team
    • Customer Support team
    • Growth Marketing team

Some exciting challenges you will be working on:

  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinating activities of other personnel
  • Use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results

We are looking for you if most of the following apply to you

  • Experience with multiple products or across multiple domains
  • At least intermediate level spoken and written English
  • Able to handle open-ended design projects that may be ambiguous or ill-defined
  • Can identify product overlaps and point out connections and potential collisions between different products, features and platforms
  • Anticipate issues and thinks of the big picture
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to work with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrate and articulate strong understanding of the following to produce designs and, where appropriate, new styles and patterns that are visually
    cohesive throughout web, mobile and desktop

    • Information architecture, multi-step and cross-platform flows
    • Layout, typography and visual hierarchy
    • Defining and applying Design Principles
    • Creating, maintaining and applying Design Systems

It’s great, but not required

  • Experience in the Cybersecurity domain
  • Experience in designing enterprise grade systems for business users
  • Experience with online collaboration tools like:
    • Miro
    • Jira
    • Confluence
    • Monday.com
