Role Description

Dropbox is looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead design for CompanyOS within the New Initiatives Org. CompanyOS is an AI-native operating system for work that Dropbox uses internally to plan, execute, and measure the most critical initiatives across the company.

You will operate as the design owner of a 0 → 1 product, partnering directly with OCEO (Office of the CEO), product, and engineering to turn ambiguous problems into clear, intuitive workflows that deliver real impact for Dropboxers.

Reporting to the Director of Product for New Initiatives, the ideal candidate combines deep product taste with strong execution, has a track record of designing new products from scratch, and thrives in zero-to-one environments with high ambiguity and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OCEO, engineering, and product to define and drive the CompanyOS user experience.
• Develop and iterate on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and user flows.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Translate complex technical concepts into intuitive, accessible user experiences.
• Push design quality with Dropbox design systems and collaborate with engineering to ship high-quality experiences.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously improve CompanyOS.
• Stay informed of the competitive landscape and emerging AI technologies.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product design.
• Exceptional craft in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Proficiency with prototyping tools to showcase complex features and web flows.
• Strong customer obsession with experience leveraging UX research.
• Experience spanning the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Ownership mindset with proactive leadership.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to executive audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 0–1 product initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with executive audiences and incorporating strategic direction.
• Proven ability to design complex, multi-step workflows.
• Familiarity with AI/ML and emerging technologies.

Compensation

Canada Pay Range: $178,500 — $241,500 CAD

Salary/OTE is one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. Employees are eligible for corporate bonus programs and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
