About the Role
We’re looking for a multi-disciplinary design leader who’s passionate about designing differentiated patient experiences in the healthcare space. We’re looking for a Staff Product Designer who will be designing and innovating Ro’s Patient’s journey experience across all verticals and platforms. You will bring a strong mix of design leadership, user-centric problem solving, innovative product insights, and a high-quality bar to what exceptional user experience looks like. In collaboration with Tech Org partners and stakeholders in medical, legal, marketing, pharmacy fulfillment & operations, your work will impact our members’ lives all across the country. We’re hiring for multiple roles across various domains.

What You’ll Do:
  • Practice design thinking in developing creative UX concepts and execution for big initiatives and experiences across the entire patient journey.
  • Set and raise the quality bar for design and lead through your design work, facilitation, and mentorship.
  • Make data-driven decisions that translate business goals into product experiences, distill complexity into simple and elegant patient experiences.
  • Use storytelling, facilitation, and insights about our patients to inspire and guide org with design thinking.
  • Lead all aspects of design from research, ideation, UX architecture, flows, interactions to wireframes, testing and polished visual design.
  • Implement, maintain and evolve the Ro Design System
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams by communicating visually and verbally with key-stakeholders, including non-designers.

  • Leading design role in shipping high impact and successful digital products.
  • Bringing innovative and creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Exceptional quality in craft of interaction and visual design.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills.
  • Mentorship and coaching experience to inspire and influence other designers.
  • Fluency in modern web technologies and understanding the fundamentals of front-end development cross platforms (iOS, Android, Web app)
  • Empathy towards not only the end users but the team you are working with.
