This is an opportunity to shape a brand-new product surface serving entirely new users, workflows, and business models. The team is building scalable, flexible experiences that extend Lime’s platform while helping companies reduce friction, delight employees, and achieve sustainability goals.

About The Role
Lime is seeking a Staff UX Designer to help build Lime for Business from the ground up. As the first UX leader in this product space, you will define the vision for the Lime for Business product suite, focusing primarily on employee-facing features within the Lime Rider mobile app.

You will operate as a design leader and multiplier—setting direction, elevating quality, and guiding teams through complex, ambiguous challenges.

Location Requirement: Remote role. Candidates must reside in Canada to support cross-team collaboration.

What You’ll Do

End-to-End Mobile Experience Design
• Design intuitive mobile experiences for business users
• Translate employer policies, eligibility rules, and usage constraints into clear, rider-friendly interactions

Product Vision & Strategy
• Define and evolve the multi-platform vision for Lime for Business
• Focus on employee-facing use cases such as commuting, business travel, and campus mobility

User-Centered Design Leadership
• Lead full-cycle design from discovery through high-fidelity design and specifications
• Ground decisions in research, business objectives, and technical constraints

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success
• Ensure seamless integration with Lime’s Rider app architecture and design systems
• Align designs with operational and hardware realities

Design Systems & Quality
• Extend Lime’s mobile design systems and UX frameworks
• Ensure accessibility, consistency, and quality across surfaces

Strategic Influence
• Communicate user problems, design rationale, and trade-offs clearly
• Influence roadmap and product decisions
• Mentor peers and elevate design culture

About You

• 7+ years of experience designing and shipping high-quality consumer-facing products
• Strong expertise in mobile app design (transportation or hardware-integrated products preferred)
• Experience designing across web and multi-platform ecosystems
• Proven ability to own end-to-end product strategy and execution
• User-research-driven design process
• Strong aesthetic craft and attention to detail
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Highly proficient in Figma
• Experience contributing to foundational and evaluative research

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building 0–1 products or leading new product initiatives
• Background in transportation, logistics, marketplace ecosystems, or hardware/IoT integrations
• Experience shaping or leading design systems
• Experience designing internal tools and workflow systems
• Ability to drive product strategy beyond execution
• Senior IC with potential to grow into formal leadership
• Passion for sustainability and urban mobility

Compensation
Salary range: CA$131,000 – CA$180,000
Total compensation may include performance bonuses and equity, depending on eligibility and role level.
