Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user experience and interface design. You will be responsible for enhancing user interactions and developing intuitive, aesthetically pleasing interfaces for our digital platforms and products.
Responsibilities:
- Design and improve user interfaces for our website and various customer-facing and internal-facing applications to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
- Collaborate with brand managers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and design specifications.
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, the voice of the customer, user journeys, customer feedback, and usability findings.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for various digital platforms.
- Conduct usability testing and incorporate user feedback to refine designs.
- Ensure consistency in visual elements and define behavior for user interactions.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
- Stay abreast of UX trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds.
- Understand and incorporate complexities of cross-platform design for mobile, desktop, and other devices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in the manufacturing or architectural sectors.
- Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, and InVision.
- Strong portfolio of design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for platforms such as desktop and mobile.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate your design decisions.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design required
- Must be able to demonstrate UX knowledge and expertise upon interviewing by showcasing previous work and experiments
