Responsibilities
Lead the design process for digital products with focus on user-centered experiences
Conduct use research and usability testing to inform design decisions
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
Develop and maintain design systems and component libraries
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
Qualification Requirements
Deep knowledge/expertise of Shopify ecosystem, themes, apps, etc. (No development experience necessary)
1-2 years of experience in UX design, with a focus on e-commerce and/or Shopify.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
Understanding of responsive design and cross-platform experiences
A portfolio showcasing your UX design skills, particularly wireframes and prototypes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
Experience designing for ecommerce or retail digital products
What You’ll Do
Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for ecommerce experiences
Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
Design cohesive visual systems and maintain component libraries
Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
Optimize customer journey touchpoints across desktop and mobile platforms
Translate complex ecommerce requirements into intuitive shopping experiences
