CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to design and enhance user interfaces and experiences for our AWS products. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and experience in creating user-centric designs. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and customers to understand user needs, design engaging interfaces, and ensure a seamless user journey.

Required Skills

• User Research: Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize design concepts and user flows.
• Design Execution: Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience. Convert graphics/layouts to CSS classes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketing to ensure designs meet business goals and technical requirements.
• Design Standards: Develop and maintain style guides (to include Section 508 compliance) and UI components to ensure consistency across all products and platforms.
• Feedback Integration: Iterate on designs based on user feedback, testing results, and stakeholder input to continuously improve the user experience.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to incorporate the latest design innovations into your work.

Required Experience

• • 3 years of experience in front-end web design or related roles
  • Bachelor’s degree

• US Citizen (clearance required)

• Must have an Active Secret clearance

• Security+ certification

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in both user experience and interface design.
• Experience with user research methodologies, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Strong understanding of design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about design challenges.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly and effectively to stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g. Section 508) and best practices.
• Experience working in agile development environments.
