Job Description:

LOCATION

Onsite work from our Atlanta, GA or Jacksonville, FL office is required with flexibility to work remote up to 2 days per week.

SUMMARY

Responsible for the design, documentation, and support of the user interface to optimize an engaging user experience for a variety of applications within ICE’s Mortgage Servicing division.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with other teams to gather requirements, creates visualization concepts, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for clients
  • Collaborates with back-end development, visual design, product management, and customers
  • Designs behaviors and functionality for current and future software applications using design specifications
  • Develops process flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize a workable UI
  • Studies how users feel about a system, evaluate perceptions of: ease of use, value of the system, utility, efficiency in performing tasks, etc.
  • May assist with new user interface testing and participate in usability reviews
  • Translates user needs and business requirements into features and functionality for web/mobile experiences
  • May require travel up to 10%
  • Performs other duties as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience
  • Requires 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Working experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, AdobeXD, etc.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with rapid prototyping
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and best practices for design of modern, data-rich, and responsive applications
  • Demonstrated skill of taking in complex data and designing UI/UX innovative data visualization to drive deeper insights
  • Ability to communicate with non-designers and developers to find the middle ground
  • Familiar with end-to-end web application development lifecycle
  • Remain current on user interface trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessary
  • Proficient in design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, etc.)
