UI/UX Designer
The UI/UX Designer will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to design and optimize the user experience of our web applications. This key role will have the opportunity to shape the future of our digital products by creating intuitive, user-centric interfaces that delight internal and external customers, and drive engagement. The qualified candidate will possess a continuous learning mindset, be self-motivated, be able to work autonomously, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
This position will report to the VP, Engineering and is based in our Las Vegas, NV headquarters. Strong remote candidates will also be considered; occasional travel to Las Vegas will be required.
Position Responsibilities
- UI/UX Design: Lead the design process from concept to execution, leveraging your expertise in user interface design, interaction design, and user experience principles to create intuitive and visually appealing web application interfaces.
- User Research: Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions, ensuring that our interfaces meet the needs and preferences of our target audience.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interactive mockups to visualize and iterate on design concepts, ensuring seamless user interactions and navigation flows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, other Designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements and user needs into compelling design solutions, while maintaining a cohesive and consistent user experience across all touchpoints.
- UI Development Support: Collaborate with Front-End Engineers to ensure seamless implementation of design specifications, providing support and guidance throughout the development process.
- Accessibility and Performance: Ensure that our web application interfaces are accessible to users of all abilities; and optimize designs for performance and scalability to deliver a seamless user experience.
- Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web application UI design; maintain a deep understanding of functionality and business workflows in our software products; and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation and continuously improve the quality of our designs.

Desired Skills and Experience
- 4-5 years of UI/US Design experience
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design expertise and creativity.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar software.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and responsive design principles.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
Pluses:
- Experience utilizing JIRA and Confluence to manage project tasks and documentation.
- Working knowledge of tools like Lucid, Miro, and/or similar to review business processes.
