UI/UX Designer – DeskPhones (6 month Contract)

We seek a talented (Contract) UI/UX Designer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces for our Desk phone screens. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating seamless user experiences and a strong understanding of design principles and trends in the telecommunications industry. Reporting directly to the VP of Digital and User Experience, you can shape the future of our digital expertise, products, and services.

Your Role:

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and business requirements.
Design and iterate on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for desk phone screens, ensuring usability and accessibility.
Create visual designs that align with our brand identity and enhance the user experience.
Conduct user research usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best UI/UX design practices, particularly in desk phone interfaces.
Work closely with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of designs and provide support throughout the development process.

Your Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and projects related to desk phone interfaces.
Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, etc.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present and defend design decisions.
Experience working in an agile development environment is a plus.
Knowledge of HTML/CSS and front-end development concepts is desirable but optional.
Experience with phone screen design highly desired.
