Job description
Position: User Experience Designer (Main Profile)
Location: Montreal or Quebec City office and telecommuting
Start date: January 2026
Position Type: Full-time (35 hours per week)

THE POSITION IN DETAIL
As a Senior UX Designer, you will work in an agile environment under the supervision of the User Experience Manager. You will be able to be the voice of our users in their use of our educational products, including our exercises, games, website and more.
Here are your main mandates:
Strategic Vision and Product Design
• Define and communicate the vision of the user experience for large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives;
• Establish and deploy the UX strategy aligned with user needs and collaborate with stakeholders to inform and actively influence the roadmap and identify opportunities for innovation;
User Research
• Conduct ongoing user research (qualitative and quantitative), including data collection, analysis of behaviours and needs, and communication of findings to stakeholders;
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to identify quantitative data and other evidentiary performance indicators that will allow the evaluation of the effectiveness of the solutions developed;
Agile design and development
• Orchestrate and facilitate design thinking, creation and validation workshops with stakeholders with an agile and iterative development process;
• Propose and implement innovative UX improvements, based on user feedback and industry best practices;
• Participate in the creation of mock-ups and prototypes, in collaboration with the User Interface (UI) team for visual specifications, and be responsible for maintaining the design system to ensure consistency;
• Implement and maintain design documentation, including UX standards and user workflows and interactions for each of the products analyzed;
Mentorship and collaboration
• Participate in design activities and rituals in order to contribute to the evolution of user design practices within the team and the company;
• Share your expertise in user experience to inform and share knowledge in the fields of research, user experience and gaming with various stakeholders;
• Accompany and support the designers of the team in order to promote the development of their technical skills;
• Participate in all other related tasks.
