Position Summary: 

As a UX Designer you will work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to create and implement user focused designs across all web and mobile applications. You will be responsible for providing mockups, prototypes and other design details that enhance the overall user experience while executing on our strategic vision. This position asks for a strong focus on detail and a high level of collaboration with stakeholders across teams.

Responsibilities:

• Combine UX thinking with design execution, to produce easy-to-use and intuitive user interfaces
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop designs that integrate a core understanding of user personas
• Collaborate with the rest of the Product and Design team to implement and evolve our design systems, ensuring visual cohesion and engineering efficiency across all user touchpoints
• Design user-centered solutions for web and mobile applications using assets such as wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, etc.
• Communicate design solutions to engineers and stakeholders
• Participate in design reviews with other designers to validate consistent use of UX concepts
• Work with stakeholders to identify requirements

 Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, experience/interaction design, graphic design or a related field
• 1-3 years of UI/UX design experience
• 1-3 years of Financial Services and Wealth Management experience
• Working knowledge of core UX design principles

Competencies:

• UI/UX Development or Design Experience
• A strong command of contemporary design tools, especially Sketch or Figma
• Graphic design skills and experience with related programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop
• Knowledge of responsive design and understanding of mobile-first designs
• Excellent communication skills 
• Ability to work independently in an autonomous environment
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• An understanding of design patterns
• A solid foundation in layout and design
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience with user research such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing a plus
• Base understanding of programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, and ES6
