Intermediate UX Designer (Remote - Ontario Only)

Our client is looking for an Intermediate UX Designer to support a growing Experience Design team and help shape intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.

You will work closely with product owners, engineers, and fellow designers to develop high-quality solutions across web and mobile.

This role is remote, with 1–2 days onsite per quarter.
You must live in Ontario.
Rate Range: $45–50 per hour, T4

Responsibilities
• Design best-in-class digital experiences across platforms and devices
• Create concepts, user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with UX writers, designers, and researchers to refine solutions
• Conduct usability and concept testing to validate design decisions
• Use research and data to inform design direction
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices
• Work within agile teams to ensure accurate implementation
• Support measurement of UX performance metrics

Qualifications
• 2–5 years of UX or digital product design experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing case studies and end-to-end design work
• Experience with usability testing and user research
• Proficiency in Figma, Jira, and modern design tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards (AODA/WCAG), and inclusive design
• Experience working in agile environments
