about this team

The Retail UX design function is a key part of the Global Digital & Omni team, providing user-centred experience strategy, design concepts, and production-ready design assets to deliver a consistent and meaningful guest and employee (educator) experience across our digital touch points.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

A UX Designer creates the user experience for defined elements of Lululemon Digital & Omni, with the goal of enabling employees (educators) to connect with guests in meaningful ways across Lululemon’s digital ecosystem (in app and in-store).

As a UX Designer on the Retail team, you will work to reimagine and optimize our educator’s experience in store and in app, ensuring the educator is prepared to do their best work using our native iOS app .

You will craft engaging, user-centered designs from early concept to final product in a collaborative environment, involving your agile product team, user research, a/b testing, design systems and other partners. Your path to success will be ensuring your designs deliver on key company and guest goals. Working closely with a Product Manager, you will create designs that meet user needs, at the intersection of business needs and technical capability.


  • 3+ years of experience in mobile app product design or mobile app user experience design, preferably in retail, ecommerce, omni-channel or adjacent industries.
  • Proven skills in all of the following: User Centered Design methodologies; creating mock-ups and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity; UI design, including current industry best-practice in UI standards, and Accessibility requirements, for iOS and mobile.
  • A portfolio demonstrating your end-to-end design process.
  • Solid presentation skills to share your work with credibility, clarity, and confidence.
  • Practical understanding (including capabilities, patterns and limitations) of current technologies used to build rich experiences in native mobile apps.
  • If immigration support required: BA / BS degree UX/UI design, UCD, HCI, or related field of study, or equivalent experience OR Bachelors degree or diploma in graphic design or graphic arts is required.

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $117,500 – $154,200 USDannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 3 days per week.
