A WORD ABOUT US

We come from many different places, but what unites us is our passion. At Moment Factory, each new project is a blank page awaiting the creativity and talent of our whole team, no matter the individual responsibilities, roles, or fields. Our desire to innovate, to take risks, and to learn from our mistakes and from each other is what allows us to create collective projects that go above and beyond. Today, thanks to a team of 450 creative minds, we have been able to create immersive multimedia environments for artists, museums, airports, brands, theme parks and events, as well as our signature shows. No matter the canvas – be it film, lighting, multimedia architecture, sound design, special effects, or interactive projects – the thirst for experimentation and innovation is at the core of our DNA.

YOUR TEAM
You will join the Interactive Design & UX team, a squad of designers who are passionate about experiences that come to life in the real world. Our expertise is multidisciplinary: interaction design, UX in physical and hybrid environments, participatory design, game mechanics, artistic direction, and technological innovation.

We explore, repurpose, and analyze emerging technologies to create memorable interactive moments, whether they are immersive installations, collective experiences, augmented performances, or formats requiring complex interfaces and interaction mechanics. We define interactivity and the user experience in all these contexts, with the objective of inventing human, engaging, and intuitive experiences.

YOUR MISSION
You will act as an Interactive Experience Designer, working closely with multimedia directors and interactive experts. Your main mission: to imagine, structure, prototype, and test innovative participatory experiences, rooted in human interactions, group dynamics, and emerging technologies.

You will bridge the gap between creative vision, user needs, and technical/technological constraints. You will be responsible for defining interactive concepts, interfaces, and interaction mechanics, in collaboration with the project teams.

As an expert in trends, innovation, and experimentation, you excel in experience architecture, real-world UX (physical + digital), and the design of engaging interactions. You have a deep understanding of human behavior, collective participation, and immersive environments.

🚀
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Actively participate in the creative process by proposing interactive, participatory, and avant-garde experience concepts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a fluid, coherent, and engaging experience, both physical and on-screen.
• Contribute to the scripting, the definition of interaction mechanics, and the overall UX framework of the projects.
• Propose, test, and iterate interactive solutions based on user observation, group dynamics, and game psychology.
• Identify risks and friction points related to the experience and recommend realistic, elegant, and innovative solutions.
• Develop visual concepts: storyboards, moodboards, interaction diagrams, interfaces, and mock-ups.
• Design interactive prototypes (narrative, technological, immersive) and structure user flows, wireframes, and functional diagrams when relevant.
• Set up user tests, analyze behaviors, and consolidate these learnings in an internal knowledge base.
• Contribute to the definition and documentation of best practices in interactive experience, UX, and participatory design.
• Ensure the governance of an internal reference library: templates, interaction patterns, testing standards.
• Maintain constant monitoring of UX, interactive design, emerging technologies, cultural trends, and game mechanics.
• Act as an expert resource for the team: training, alignment, and coaching on UX and interactive design.
• Support Scrum teams to ensure that the internal interactive offering evolves according to vision, coherence, and user value.
• Contribute to elevating the quality of projects, interactively, aesthetically, and technologically.
• Perform any other related task relevant to the role.

YOUR JOURNEY INCLUDES
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interactive experience UX, interaction design, or design of immersive environments or UX interaction design (portfolio is essential).
• Concrete experience in projects that take place in the real world (installations, events, immersive spaces, physical environments) and mastery of hybrid pathways (physical + digital).
• Solid experience in planning, directing, and analyzing user tests.
• Proficiency in prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe CC) and ease in communicating ideas via wireframes, user journeys, diagrams, and prototypes.
• Strong ease in visual communication (sketching, storyboards, diagrams, moodboards).
• Solid knowledge of interaction mechanics, collective behavior, and game principles.
• Excellent command of spoken and written French and English.

Assets:
• Understanding of physical technologies, connected objects, sensors, tangible interfaces, and software systems.
• Knowledge or interest in creative AI, augmented UX, and emerging technologies.
• Skills in visual content creation (2D, 3D, motion design, generative).
• Knowledge or interest in TouchDesigner, Unity, Unreal Engine, Web.

YOUR QUALITIES
• Positive leadership, team spirit, and ability to inspire.

• Strong ability for conception, ideation, and experience modeling.
• Curiosity for real-world interfaces, games, and human interactions.
