Job Description
As a UX Product Designer, you will contribute to the design of intuitive, user-centered experiences for our software and web-based products. Sitting within the Software Product Management team, you will work closely with senior UX product designers, product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to shape the user experience across the product lifecycle. Your role will involve supporting user research, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototyping to solve complex problems and deliver impactful digital solutions.

Responsibilities
Participate or lead the UX design efforts from concept to delivery across products.
Participate or conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Translate research insights into user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
Deliver polished, high-fidelity designs and collaborate with engineering during implementation.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices.
Work closely with product managers to align UX direction with product strategy.
Contribute to the design system and documentation.

Qualifications
Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or a related design discipline such as Human–Computer Interaction or UX Design.

Experience
• Experience working within product teams, preferably in SaaS, healthcare, or clinical research domains.
• Proven success in delivering complex projects in agile environments.
• Prior experience collaborating with software product management teams is preferred.
• Experience with Cytel’s technology stack (React, C#, C++, Python) is an asset.

Skills
• Strong skills in user research, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe CC, Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Balsamiq, or similar.
• Solid understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stake holder engagement skills.
• Proven artistic ability and good sense for aesthetics.
