Jacky Habib is a freelance journalist who regularly reports on the social impact sector in Canada. She has reported from a dozen African countries on humanitarian issues, social justice, and women’s rights. Jacky's work has appeared in the CBC, National Post, The CS Monitor, and Global Citizen, among many other publications. As a media trainer and consultant, she equips emerging journalists with storytelling skills and supports nonprofits with advocacy campaigns. Jacky is also the founder of New Lens Travel, a social enterprise that highlights storytellers and creatives, and provides media training to marginalized youth.
