70 Ways You Can Actually Measure Design Quality

Learn from the best of design leaders and ICs we’ve hosted at our DesignX events and conferences.

Jessa Parette

Director of Experience Design

Experience measurement is not easy, but as design's role becomes more blended with technology and business results, the tactical ability to build design's database of measurability is crucial. Design and data have an undeniable future togther, but to protect the creative ability that makes us most human, design leaders must adapt to how impact can or should be measured. Here, I would like to present practical, data-based frameworks that show how software development and design development can measure the same data but formulate differing metrics that measure quality in design factors.

I am a design leader who seeks to build intentional experiences. Currently, I am the Director of Experience design for Capital One's auto finance, where our mission is to change banking for good. Before this, I was the youngest female design leader to become Head of Design for Walmart's associate digital experience, where I led research and design teams to launch national and international products. Most days, you can find me in Austin.
