Your Responsibilities
As a User Experience Designer for JD Financial located in Johnston, IA, you will…
- Deliver wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design recommendations.
- Interpret and translate quantitative and qualitative insights into high quality visual experiences.
- Partner with other UX professionals to validate and test designs with users through usability testing methods.
- Partner with the IT UX Design Ops team to leverage and contribute to the Fuel Design System.

What Skills You Need
- 1 or more years of demonstrated experience in UI and UX design.
- Proficient with Figma or other equivalent design and rapid-prototyping tools.
- Experience creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
- Communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead design discussions.
- Experience incorporating branding and common design system components and guidelines into product experiences.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience leveraging or contributing to a Design system
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management
- Continuous UX learning and certifications
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Ability to influence without authority and working with a variety of individuals.
- Writing concise content, design guidelines, and standards.
- Experience with capturing analytics and identifying insights.
- Experience with accessibility design and guidelines.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Usability, Graphic Arts, Digital Design, Industrial Design, Marketing, Human Factors
