Our primary technology, supporting our ATARS product, enables pilots to simulate the cognitive challenges of flying while accessing realistic, scalable training in dynamic outdoor environments.

Job Summary

In this role, you’ll work closely with product and design leadership to develop novel prototypes in spatial computing and desktop environments. You’ll manage prototype development through the design process, including getting feedback from internal SMEs and external customers. Lastly, you’ll manage the handoff process between UI/UX to engineering to productize your prototypes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute VR, AR, and desktop-based prototypes through the design life cycle.
  • Decompose problem statements and other documentation from Product Management.
  • Create solutions that utilize Red 6 design systems and perform research on net new design systems where needed.
  • Create light weight concepts for quick user/SME tests.
  • Document how you illustrate use cases, design choices, and test results.
  • Iterate
  • Prototype the proof of concept in ARCADE’s unreal instance based on discovery that we can test internally and externally.
  • Create and own detailed design spec/handoff document that engineers will use to implement the solution.
• Contribute to UI/UX discovery for product experiences.
• Own the handoff process and package. Enable engineering to implement the prototype solution into production.
• Act as the voice of the user and help Product Management balance engineering tradeoffs between different UI/UX solutions.
• Provide technical support to the UI/UX team and creative support to the engineering team.
• Find ways to improve the UI/UX in the existing product. This includes resolving redundancies and complications in our existing product workflows.
• Develop novel experiences that delight our customers. Develop the future of mixed reality UI/UX.

Experience, Skills, and Required Qualifications   

• 3+ years experience in UI/UX, technical art, or prototyping
• Proven experience designing solutions in unity or unreal
• Presenting to executive-level stakeholders
• This position may require a security clearance. To obtain clearance, employees must show proof of US Citizenship.
