Terms of Service.

By accessing and using DesignX (designx.community), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

DesignX provides a community platform for designers and design leaders, including: • A curated Slack community • In-person and virtual events (dinners, meetups, conferences) • A job board for design roles • A talks library with recorded presentations • A weekly newsletter • Salary data and tools for designers We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

Membership in the DesignX community is by application. We reserve the right to accept or decline applications at our discretion. Members are expected to follow our Code of Conduct at all times. We may suspend or terminate access to any member who violates our Code of Conduct or these Terms.

Event registration and dinner applications are subject to availability. Fees paid for events are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated. For dinners, the deposit structure is outlined on the dinners page. By attending our events, you consent to being photographed and having those photos used in DesignX marketing materials, social media, and website content.

Job listings are posted by third-party employers. DesignX does not guarantee the accuracy of job listings and is not a party to any employment relationship. We review listings for quality but are not responsible for the hiring process or outcomes. Job posting fees are outlined on the Post a Job page and are non-refundable once the listing is published.

All content on designx.community — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of DesignX or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. Talk recordings remain the intellectual property of their respective speakers. DesignX has been granted permission to host and distribute these recordings.

By submitting content to DesignX (including Slack messages, event applications, and form submissions), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services. You are responsible for the content you submit and must ensure it does not violate any third-party rights.

DesignX is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to DesignX in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of DesignX after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify the community of significant changes via our newsletter or Slack.
